Deel pricing looks simple on its website. An employee hired through its Employer of Record (EOR) service costs $599 a month and a contractor costs $49. The trouble starts when you try to budget a real hire. Salary, mandatory contributions and 13th-month pay all sit on top of the fee, and so do a few items that no pricing page lists.
We read Deel’s pricing page and its Philippines page line by line, both checked on October 16, 2026, and turned the numbers into a worked example. We also put Asiacruit’s starting price next to it, because that is the comparison most people searching for Deel pricing are after.
- Deel lists its EOR service at $599 per employee per month, contractors at $49, Contractor of Record at $325 and a US PEO employee at $125.
- On its Philippines page Deel quotes an EOR fee of ₱408,480 per employee per year, with no setup cost.
- For a hire on ₱35,000 a month, the EOR fee is about 44% of the total monthly bill at Deel, and about 21% at Asiacruit’s starting price.
- At list prices a ten-person team pays $71,880 a year in EOR fees at Deel and from $23,880 at Asiacruit.

Two details are worth noting. Deel says its pricing is month to month with no long-term commitment, and that you can cancel at any time. For an EOR employee, however, cancelling the service does not end the employment. Local notice periods and severance rules still apply when someone leaves, so ask who pays for them.
The page also lists tabs for Manage, Pay, Equip and Bundle but shows no prices for them. A full-suite bill can therefore differ from the numbers above.
How Deel pricing works for an EOR employee
The $599 is a per-head, per-month fee. Double the team and the fee doubles. The page shows no sliding scale, so if you plan to hire ten or more people, ask Deel for a volume quote before you compare it with anyone else.
Deel says the fee covers payroll, tax filings, compliance and benefits administration, and that local compliance costs are included in the quoted price. It does not cover the employee’s pay, and it does not cover the employer contributions that every country adds on top.
Deel pricing for the Philippines
Deel’s Philippines page, last updated June 30, 2026, lists an EOR fee of ₱408,480 per employee per year. That works out to about ₱34,040 a month. The page shows ₱0 in setup costs, says Deel hires through a wholly-owned Philippine entity, and puts time to first hire at one business day.
The same page estimates employer contributions at about 12.5% of wages. It splits that into SSS at about 10%, PhilHealth at 2.5% and a fixed ₱200 for Pag-IBIG. Our own employer cost calculator lands close to that. It runs slightly higher because it also counts the SSS Employees’ Compensation premium.
Deel also compares itself with opening your own entity. It estimates ₱2,283,860 in one-off costs and ₱2,506,399 a year to run, or ₱4,790,259 in the first year. Those are Deel’s estimates, not ours, but the direction is right. One hire does not justify a subsidiary. A permanent team of 20 or 30 in one country often does, which is the break-even point we describe in our guide to EOR vs setting up a subsidiary.
What one hire really costs: Deel pricing in a worked example
Take a Philippine hire on ₱35,000 a month. Our calculator puts the employer share of SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG at ₱4,605 a month. That includes the ₱30 Employees’ Compensation premium on top of SSS. Then 13th-month pay adds one-twelfth of salary, or ₱2,917 a month. Before any provider fee, the hire already costs ₱42,522 a month.
Now add the EOR fee. Deel’s ₱34,040 takes the total to ₱76,562 a month. For Asiacruit’s starting price of $199 we used the exchange rate that Deel’s own figures imply, ₱408,480 for $7,188 a year, or ₱56.83 per dollar. That makes the fee about ₱11,309 and the monthly total ₱53,831.

| Monthly cost line | Deel | Asiacruit (from) |
|---|---|---|
| Salary | ₱35,000 | ₱35,000 |
| SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG (employer) | ₱4,605 | ₱4,605 |
| 13th-month accrual | ₱2,917 | ₱2,917 |
| EOR fee | ₱34,040 | ₱11,309 |
| Total per month | ₱76,562 | ₱53,831 |
Asiacruit’s fee is a starting price converted at ₱56.83 per dollar. A final quote depends on headcount and scope.
The gap is ₱22,731 a month, about 30% less, or roughly ₱272,800 a year for one employee. Read that with care. $199 is a starting price, and Deel may discount at volume. What the example does show is how large the fee is inside the bill. At ₱35,000 of pay, the EOR fee is about 44% of the monthly total at Deel and about 21% at Asiacruit.
Deel pricing vs Asiacruit by team size
Because both fees are charged per head, the difference grows with the team. This chart compares Deel’s published list price with Asiacruit’s starting price.

| Team size | Deel at $599 a month | Asiacruit from $199 a month | Difference per year |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 employee | $7,188 | $2,388 | $4,800 |
| 5 employees | $35,940 | $11,940 | $24,000 |
| 10 employees | $71,880 | $23,880 | $48,000 |
Fees only. Deel may offer volume discounts and Asiacruit’s final quote depends on scope.
Costs that sit outside Deel pricing
Whichever provider you choose, budget for these items as well.
- Salary and employer contributions. In the Philippines that means the employer share of SSS, PhilHealth and Pag-IBIG. Our SSS calculator shows the exact figure for any salary.
- 13th-month pay. It is due by December 24, so accrue one-twelfth of salary every month. Try the 13th-month pay calculator.
- Benefits and equipment. Health cover above the statutory minimum, a laptop and software are rarely in the EOR fee.
- Visa or work-permit costs. Deel’s Philippines page mentions visa support but its pricing page lists no price for it. Ask.
- Termination costs. Separation pay applies to authorized-cause dismissals. The separation pay calculator estimates it.
When Deel pricing makes sense
Deel is a strong choice when your hiring is spread across many countries. One platform covers 130+ countries, pays contractors in 120+ currencies and adds a US PEO. If you manage employees, contractors and payroll in a dozen countries, a single system can be worth a higher fee per head.
When a regional EOR costs less
The picture changes when most of your hires sit in the Philippines, Indonesia or India. You pay for coverage you do not use, and you get support from a team that does not work in those markets every day. A regional provider has registered entities in those three countries and a lower starting fee. Our full Asiacruit vs Deel comparison goes through the other differences.
Questions to ask before you sign with any EOR
- What exactly does the monthly fee include?
- Is there a setup fee, deposit or minimum term?
- Who owns the local entity that employs my staff?
- What happens to the fee if I add or remove people?
- Who pays for notice periods and severance when someone leaves?
- How long does onboarding take once I send the details?
