Many US companies build part of their team in Asia to access skilled talent at a lower employment cost and to extend support or engineering coverage across time zones.
Employing people there directly means registering entities and complying with local labor law in each country, which is why most start with an Employer of Record.
Hiring in Asia typically costs less than comparable roles at home, and each market hub shows a worked employer-cost example.
Our three markets sit roughly 10 to 16 hours ahead of US time zones, which suits follow-the-sun support and shifted schedules.
One partner for hiring in the Philippines, Indonesia and India, instead of a separate provider in each country.
The three markets differ in time zone, statutory costs and talent focus. Here is how they compare for a US team.

Employees in the Philippines, Indonesia and India are covered by local labor law. Contracts, probation, notice, termination and statutory benefits all follow local rules, because the employer is Asiacruit’s local entity.
Each market has statutory benefits on top of base pay: 13th month pay in the Philippines, THR in Indonesia, and EPF, ESI and gratuity in India. The worked examples below show what they add.
Our three markets sit roughly 10 to 16 hours ahead of US time zones. Many teams agree a few overlapping core hours or run a shifted schedule, so settle this when you define the role.
Engaging someone as a contractor when the relationship looks like employment can create claims for statutory benefits and penalties in their country. An Employer of Record avoids that risk.
Hiring abroad can affect your own company’s tax and reporting. Speak with your US tax adviser as part of your plan.
